Continuing an indelible creative partnership that has brought us the sweat-soaked r'n'b of Black Vanilla, Collarbones' 'Hypothermia' and countless shows shared across Australia, two of Sydney's most prolific producers go back-to-back on 12” wax for the first Finer Things release of 2014 – splitting Scissor Lock's 9 minute epic 'Awatef' with the vocal-infused dub-noir of Cassius Select's 'Bull' and 'Each Step'.

4 awesome tracks. Bloody Hustle is so tight it's about to snap ! Really interesting stuff and far from the same ol' same ol'. Def be keeping an eye on Cassius Select. Pete Srdic
This album is wonderful, a modern epic. It's exhilarating and heartbreaking--an Australian queer mythos that is universal.. Definitely worth getting the limited-edition book version--the book is gorgeous, and has additional texts (I also got a separate volume of Marcus Whale's poetry with it). If you're not sure, check out the "My Captain" video, and you'll get a taste of this amazing production. Crashy88
